The Beauty dish creates a unique lighting pattern on the subject offering a round catch light in the eye of the subject, often used in fashion and the beauty industries to create excellent skin tones which are soft and uniform.

It is a device used to create soft light – it works by using a parabolic reflector to distribute light towards a focal point. The light created is between that of a direct flash and a softbox, hence giving the image of a wrapped, contrasted look, which adds a very dramatic effect.

This beauty dish is 42cm in diameter and it comes with removable front white diffuser. The inner colour of the reflector is silver, and it also has Bowens S type fitting.
